Miss Liverpool City Region – Official Rules & Regulations

These regulations apply to all contestants participating in the Miss Liverpool City Region competition. By entering, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to abide by the following terms.

1. Eligibility Criteria

To enter the Miss Liverpool City Region competition, you must be aged 16 to 27 at the time of application, identify as female, and be a UK resident who either lives, works, or studies in the Liverpool City Region. You must not be currently married or in a legally binding civil partnership, and you must not have previously held the title of Miss Liverpool City Region. We reserve the right to verify eligibility at any time.

2. Application Process

All applications must be submitted via the official entry form before the deadline. Incomplete or false applications may be rejected without notice. Shortlisted applicants will be contacted for interview or selection stages.

3. Judging & Criteria

Judging is based on a combination of personal presentation, public speaking, confidence, community involvement, and stage presence. The judging panel’s decisions are final and no correspondence will be entered into. Scores and feedback are confidential.

4. Contestant Expectations

Contestants must attend all scheduled rehearsals, interviews, and events as required. Professional behaviour is expected throughout the competition, both in person and online. Any contestant who behaves inappropriately or fails to meet expectations may be disqualified.

5. Disqualification Policy

We reserve the right to remove any contestant from the competition for breaching these regulations, providing false information, failing to attend mandatory events, or engaging in behaviour deemed inappropriate or damaging to the reputation of the competition.

6. Use of Likeness

By entering, you grant us permission to use your name, image, and likeness in promotional material including on social media, websites, press, and TV. We may also use photos and videos taken during the competition for marketing and publicity. No compensation will be provided for such use unless agreed separately in writing.

7. Code of Conduct

Bullying, harassment, or discrimination of any kind will not be tolerated. You are expected to treat fellow contestants, organisers, and judges with respect at all times. All social media content posted by contestants should reflect the values and image of the competition.

8. Prizes & Titles

The winner will hold the title of Miss Liverpool City Region for 12 months or until the next winner is crowned. Prizes are non-transferable and not redeemable for cash unless stated. Titleholders must attend selected events, appearances, or media opportunities as required.

9. Changes to Rules

We reserve the right to make changes to the rules or format of the competition at any time. Any significant changes will be communicated directly to contestants.
